Some new features of this website include upcoming events in the right column and a blog called "Recent News" it will be updated with time announcements, weekly e-letters, and more; you can subscribe to the rss feed of that blog to get notified when updates are made, simply click the subscribe via rss tab in the upper right hand corner.

The South High Spartan Band and Color Guard includes the Marching Band, Concert Band, Jazz Band, and Drum Line. The Spartan Band performs at home and away football games and other selected events and represents South High in a number of special performances and competitions recognizing high school bands. The Jazz and Concert bands perform in the holiday program as well as in a series of concerts and competitions throughout the year.
